Many fans were left shocked when rap rivals, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B had an epic showdown at New York Fashion Week during the Harper’s Bazaar’s ICONS party.
According to reports, Cardi B who left the scuffle with a massive bruise on her head got the injury from security protecting Nicki Minaj but the “Queen” rapper has a different story to tell. Minaj during today’s episode of QUEEN Radio dished all about how “Love & Hip-Hop New York star, Rah Ali, is really to blame for the massive bruise on Cardiâ€s head.
During the QUEEN Radio segment, Nicki Minaj said,
“For people who donâ€t know, Rah Ali beat Cardiâ€s ass real bad. You went home and told people that security hit you, and we let that ride for legal reasons.â€
Nicki is so confident about this new side of the story she is telling that she even offered a cash reward by further saying,
“Anybody that wants to pull up the surveillance footage, I will give you 100 thousand dollars,â€ she added. “Anybody that says that didnâ€t happened. I would never come up here and lie.â€
Rumours that Rah may have been the one to give Cardi her NYFW bump started last week and Minaj seemed to confirm the speculation with a comment on Cardiâ€s sister, Hennessy Carolinaâ€s, Instagram over the weekend.
“Keep playing with me you dumb B**** and Ima RAG YOU like I did your sister, Rah wrote.
At first, fans simply thought Rah was just looking for attention, but now that Nickiâ€s added in her two cents, itâ€s looking like a much more legitimate story!
It would be recalled that the fight between Cardi and Nicki broke out at NYFW after Cardi approached Nicki for ‘liking†a comment about her parenting on social media. Cardi threw a shoe in Nickiâ€s direction, which is when security stepped in to break things up. It is unclear how or when Rah got involved in the altercation, but Nicki has vehemently denied ever making any reference to Cardiâ€s parenting.
