Ndidi Rated The Most Outstanding Leicester Player In Defeat At Liverpool

By James Agberebi:‎ Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was Leicester City’s highest rated player despite their 2-1 away loss to Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The appraisal of Leicester City players’ performance in the match was done by British regional newspaper for the city of Leicester, Leicester Mercury, with each player rated out of 10.

Ndidi, as usual, was in Leicester’s starting eleven and featured for 90 minutes in the away loss to the Reds.

His Super Eagles teammate, Ahmed Musa, made City’s matchday squad in the league for the first time this season, while Kelechi Iheanacho was dropped.

Despite taking the lead on three minutes through Jamie Vardy, a brace from Mohamed Salah, gave Liverpool the win.

According to Leicester Mercury, Ndidi was rated eight for his impressive performance.

And commenting on Ndidi’s display, the publication wrote:”Battled well in midfield and tried to get City going forward.”

In the other ratings that was done, the quartet of Wes Morgan, Riyad Mahrez, Vardy and Marc Albrighton all got seven. While Kasper Schmeichel, Daniel Amartey, Harry Maguire, Christian Fuchs, Vicente Iborra, Demarai Gray got six points apiece.
