By Johnny Edward: Ola Aina is delighted that Hull City are in the hat for the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup after his headed goal was enough to beat Blackburn Rovers 1-0 at Ewood Park on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigeria international scored his first senior career goal, heading in Jon Toral’s corner in the 58th minute to score a goal the turned out to be the winner for Hull City.
Aina was however booked in the 71st minute for pulling back Lewis Travis.
The goal was also Aina’s first on his debut in the Emirates FA Cup competition for Hull City since making a season loan move from Chelsea last summer and also his first in 25 games in all competitions for the Tigers.
Aina took to Twitter to express his excitement.
“Delighted with our FA Cup win, buzzing to have got my first senior goal! Onto the next round,” he tweeted.
