Two figures have emerged as the Tripartite Committee on minimum wage reconvened to continue their meeting.
It was gathered that while the government is offering N24,000, the organised labour insists on N30,000.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, said that strike will no longer hold tomorrow.
He said “the labour leaders are satisfied with the outcome ao far. We are arranginng to meet the president to give him the report.”
He explained whatever is agreed upon would still have to go through the National Assembly.
The Chairman of the tripartite committee, Ama Pepple, confirmed that the committee arrived at two figures of N24,000 and N30,000
