About 80 people, thought to mostly be school children, have been reportedly kidnapped in Bamenda, Cameroon.
They were abducted by armed men along with a teacher, the school principal and a driver and are being held at an unknown destination.
Authorities of the North West region say security forces have launched an operation to rescue the children and called on the local community to remain calm.
