Lt. General Oladipo Diya, retired Chief of General Staff, has condoled with Nigerians on the death of Alhaji Shehu Shagari, former president, who died at the age of 93 and has since been buried.
Describing him as a man of love, peace, passion and concern for the plight of others, General Diya urged those at the helms of affairs to emulate Shagariâ€
s humility and sacrifice with a view to moving the nation forward.
The former number two citizen also said the Late Shagariâ€s zeal, appetite for goal and sense of nationalism when he led Nigeria placed the nation on the global map adding that he was a man worthy to be emulated by the current crops of leaders in the country.
