Here are 5 most common sex injuries

Ever had a missing vibrator in your vagina before?

You won't be surprised about muscle pull when it comes to sex injuries – but what about a penile fracture?

Not a lot of people think about injuries when it comes to sex, most people think about pleasure when they talk about sex, but sometimes there is pain involved. Below are a few surprising strange injuries from being too adventurous in the bedroom.

1. Vaginal tear

A vaginal tear is exactly what it sounds like, a small cut or tear to the entrance to the vagina, or the vaginal wall. Although, in most cases, the tear will heal on its own. If it's large you should see a doctor and to avoid them make sure you use enough lube to prevent any friction.

2. A fractured penis

This is every man's worst nightmare. A penile fracture occurs when an erect penis is hit with considerable force. The penis is made up of three cylindrical tubes, two of which fill up with blood when a man becomes aroused. The tissue surrounding these tubes also expands. However, if the penis is hit with force – such as a woman's pelvic bone when thrusting a little too enthusiastically – it can bend and cause a pressure overload in the tubes and in turn cause a fracture.

3. Having a rug burn

As with any kind of burn though, make sure you wash the area with cool water and antibacterial soap afterward. Try using an antibiotic ointment afterward to keep it from getting infected.

4. Foreign objects in the vagina

Firstly, you should never put anything in the vagina that's not designed to go into the vagina. But even vibrators and other toys can get lost. If you lose anything down there you need to see a doctor.

5. Back injuries

Back injuries can happen during any physical activity – sex is no different. If you think you've thrown your back on something cool on the muscles to help ease swelling or try using pain relieving gel.
