The climax of the day, according to him, is the Balearica Awards, also known as the Nigeria Tourism Awards, which will hold by 5:00 pm. For this year, Awhana said that it is only the non – voting category that will be awarded while the voting categories will be put on hold due to the inability to conclude work on them.

Areas to be awarded on the day are Young Tourism Personality of the year, Royal Support for tourism, Best Tourism Governor of the year, Lifetime Achievement, Tourism Personality of the year and the Best Travel Blog.
