2019: PDP Planning To Recruit Russians To Hack INEC Database, Says APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alleged that the man opposition party in next year’s general election, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was planning to recruit Russian hackers to manipulate the 2019 general elections.

APC’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, alleged that the Russian hackers have been positioned to hack into the database of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to achieve the goal.

He also claimed that the recent visit of PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, National Chairman, Uche Secondus, Senate President Bukola Saraki and other party leaders to Dubai was in line with the objective of rigging the polls.

“The Electoral Act we are using now was created by the PDP. You created a Bill and now you are afraid to use what you created. Does that sound right?

“What the PDP is doing right now is playing out what it designed in Dubai. They started with inciting a strike from labour on the minimum wage to cause problem in the country, but it didn’t work. They brought ASUU strike, which also did not work and they now tried to create fuel scarcity.

“These were all part of plots they planned in Dubai. The next plan is on the Electoral Act Amendment Bill. Their plan is that if the President refused to sign the Bill, they will go and demonstrate, and we are waiting for them. How can you put in the Bill that once the votes are cast, you just transmit, instead of counting first. That is part of the Dubai plot.

“They planned to bring some Russians to help them hack the system. That is their joker. Once the President signed the Bill, they will just bring in the Russians to help them hack into the system, he stated.

Bad News As Arsenal Will Miss These Two Stars Against Southampton

Arsenal

Arsenal will be visiting the Saints on Sunday with hopes of keeping up with Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in the race for the top four spots.

The trip to Southampton comes on the back of an impressive 22-game unbeaten run by the Gunners in all competitions.

Two men who have played a key part in that long run are Shkodran Mustafi and summer signing Sokratis.

The duo have been regulars in the defensive department for Unai Emery this season but neither of them will be able to feature this weekend.

Due to an accumulation of excessive yellow cards, neither Sokratis nor Mustafi will be in action for Arsenal against Southampton on Sunday.

Below was a confirmation by the club via the usual pre-match team news on Friday morning.

“Due to receiving his fifth domestic booking, receives a one-match suspension for Southampton (a) on Sunday, December 16. the update said

U.S. Judge Finds Obamacare Unconstitutional

Obama3Post

A judge in Texas has ruled that Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act, more commonly known as Obamacare, is unconstitutional in its mandate requiring people to buy health insurance.

The case was brought by a coalition of 20 states that argued that the whole law was invalidated by a change in tax rules last year which eliminated a penalty for not having health insurance.

The judgment has been hailed as a victory by U.S. President Donald Trump who has always been fiercely critical of Obamacare.

The states challenging the law were led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, both Republicans.

The 2010 law was the signature domestic policy achievement of Trump’s Democratic predecessor Barack Obama.

Since its inception, Republicans have repeatedly tried and failed to repeal it.

It’s thought the case could go all the way to the U.S Supreme Court.

This warmup move will prep you for a super-powered workout

Don't just skip out on the prep work. Before your next session, try this dynamic starter, resisted marches, from trainer Don Saladino, who developed the workout programs actors

You can't just jump into your workout and expect to perform like a superhero. Without a proper warmup, you could wind up doing less than your best-or even worse, getting injured.

Don't just skip out on the prep work. Before your next session, try this dynamic starter, resisted marches, from trainer Don Saladino, who developed the workout programs actors like Ryan Reynolds and Sebastian Stan used to get into superhero shape for their roles in Deadpool and the Avengers, respectively.

"This exercise is also great for getting people in the right posture when warming up for sprint work," Saladino says. "It has you working on mobility, which is a combination of strength and flexibility, while getting the heart rate going."

To perform the move as demonstrated by Saladino below, you'll need a set of resistance bands and a partner to hold them. You can also attach a band to an anchor like a squat rack if you don't have a training partner handy, then loop it around your waist. If you need a solid set of resistance bands, check out this option from WODFitters.

  • Loop the band around your waist. Have your partner standing behind you, holding the band taut. They should provide some resistance by holding the band, but they shouldn't be actively pulling and jerking it back to keep your from advancing. If you don't have a partner, walk out in front of your anchor so that the band becomes taut.

  • Begin marching straight ahead, focusing on your form. Squeeze your core to keep your torso upright, and avoid leaning too far forward or bending your spine.

  • Drive your right knee up while simultaneously swinging your left hand up like a sprinter, then plant your right foot down into the ground and swing your left arm back as you reverse the motion and stride with your left leg.

March for either 30 seconds or 40 yards to start. If you don't have a partner and your band is attached to an anchor, walk out to the extent of the band's stretch, then return to the start. Keep it up for 30 seconds.

For more superhero-body building moves, you can check out all of our Superhero Fit Workouts or Saladino's full program.

The Minister of Interior, retired Lt.-Gen Abdurrahman Dambazau, made this known at the passing-out parade of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) graduates Cadets of 43rd Superintendent Basic course in Kano on Saturday.

The Federal Government has renewed its commitment to strengthening national security architecture and addressing unemployment challenges bedevilling the country.

The Minister of Interior, retired Lt.-Gen Abdurahman Dambazau, made this known at the passing-out parade of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) graduates Cadets of 43rd Superintendent Basic course in Kano on Saturday.

Dambazau was represented by at the occasion by the ACG of Immigration, Ado Jafar retired.

He said the passing out of the 652 graduates cadets from the Immigration Training School, Kano was a clear demonstration of the Federal Government’s commitment to not only strengthen our national security but also to provide gainful employment to the teeming youths of the country.

Danbazau said the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) would remain committed to staff training and discipline so as to ensure effective service delivery.

He said the ministry and indeed the civil defence, fire, Immigration and prisons services board would continue to maintain absolute zero tolerance for misconduct from any personnel under its supervision.

He, therefore, urged those graduating to ensure that they are always guided by the trainings they received as well as by the agency’s rules of engagement in their conduct.

“As the supervising ministry, we shall continue to ensure that we attend to the genuine needs of all the services under our purview including NIS, for enhanced service delivery, “he said.

In his remark, the Comptroller-General of the NISS, Muhammad Babandede, tasked the graduating cadets on discipline and professional lifestyle.

Babandede said the 43rd Superintendent Basic course was the first set of cadets with first degrees.

“We are proud to state that this new NIS training curriculum is one of the best document for any training institution in Nigeria.

“It is important to inform you that you are coming into an IT-driven service that puts high premium on systems automation and professionalism, “he said.

He warned the officers to avoid what he described as presentation of high profile notes or calls for special postings or favours saying that anybody who engaged in such acts the document will be recorded in his/her secret registry file.

“The consequence of such lobby for any favour may mar your career progression in the service in future.

Also speaking, the commandant of the training school, Mr R.A. Adegoke called for the urgent rehabilitation of the school Indoor shooting range and the access road leading to the school.

He also called for the construction of additional senior and junior staff quarters in addition to hostel accommodation for cadets.
