Love & Dating: Relationship games men need to stop playing immediately

Couple problems.

Time up, guys! No more games!

When it is said that people play emotional games either before or during a relationship, what that often depicts is a situation where true feelings are subdued or hidden so as not to look to weak, or in order to have an upper hand in the relationship.

Relationship games are those dishonest and incompletely honest things people do to ‘get one over’ their partner. It could also mean all the things done to have an advantage in the relationship dynamic.

And this is not limited to one gender, as we have obviously stated here in this article which points out the emotional games women need to stop playing immediately!

Because a coin always has two sides, we now list all the relationship and emotional games men need to stop playing immediately!

1. Faking love for sex

This is the most common one by some distance. Guys, it’s time to give this up!

There are women who would ride [with] you all night long even if there is no promise of a relationship. Just come out straight and declare your real intent. If that’s what she wants too, you’ll know! If not, move along. Stop faking love and emotions just to get the good-good!

ALSO READ: Can women truly deal with total honesty from the beginning?

2. Playing the ‘missing you’ card just for a booty call

Bros, if you want to arrange booty call, just go straight to the point. Which one is ‘I miss you?’

3. Ghosting

We have spoken about this ceaselessly. Ghosting is wrong, guys. If you want to break up with someone, do it with your chest. Be bold enough, at least, to say it to their face.

Even if you won’t offer them closure, let them hear it from you that you are no longer interested in the relationship. Not a text message, not a fade away. Communicate to them that the end has come.

Well, for real, this is actually the end.

Mourinho and Pogba filmed in tense Man United training ground exchange

(FILES) In this file photo taken on December 02, 2017 Manchester United's Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho (L) reacts as he talks with Manchester United's Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku (C) and Manchester United's French midfielder Paul Pogba during the English Premier League football match between Arsenal and Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in London. Paul Pogba has been told by Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho he will never captain the club again while the Portuguese remains in charge, according to reports on September 25, 2018, as tensions between United's star midfielder and manager continue to rise. / AFP PHOTO / Adrian DENNIS/

Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba were involved in a tense-looking exchange at Manchester United’s training ground on Wednesday, a day after the manager confirmed the World Cup star had been stripped of the role of vice-captain.

Pogba was rested by Mourinho for the shock League Cup third-round exit against Championship side Derby on Tuesday and watched from the stands as United lost on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.

After the match, Mourinho confirmed that Pogba was no longer a United vice-captain, although he denied falling out with the France midfielder.

Sky Sports showed footage of Pogba joining training with his teammates on Wednesday morning, including a seemingly terse exchange between the pair.

The 25-year-old shook hands with coach Michael Carrick and another United employee before looking taken aback by something Mourinho said.

Pogba was then seen having an apparently exasperated discussion with the manager.

Mourinho was asked after the match on Tuesday whether he had told Pogba he would not captain the club again.

“The only truth is I made the decision of Paul not to be the second captain anymore,” said Mourinho.

“I am the manager, I make these decisions, no fallout at all, no problem at all. The same person who takes the decision to make him second captain makes this decision now.”

The France international captained the side in the Premier League openers against Leicester and Brighton in the absence of Antonio Valencia, just as he did in last week’s Champions League win at Young Boys.

Pogba scored two and set up the other in the 3-0 victory in Switzerland but he gave a mixed performance in Saturday’s return to league action against Wolverhampton, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The 25-year-old was dispossessed in the move that led to Joao Moutinho’s equaliser.

After the match he said United should attack more.

Those comments are said to have got under Mourinho’s skin, but it is reported that Pogba’s reported desire to leave Old Trafford for Barcelona was behind the decision to strip him of the vice-captaincy.

Fitness: 5 moves to stretch out your tight hips

That's not just a silly saying from a '90s comedy. Using the power from your hips is essential for everything from your power clean or deadlift to swinging a golf club.

If you want to be able to squat well – or really, move around and do any athletic activity well – just remember one simple adage: It's all in the hips.

That's not just a silly saying from a '90s comedy. Using the power from your hips is essential for everything from your power clean or deadlift to swinging a golf club. You're more than likely using your hips anytime you generate force, no matter the movement.

If your hips are stiff and you lack mobility, however, you might struggle to do things like squatting and swinging. Not only are you at risk for injuries if your hip flexors are in bad shape, but you're making exercises harder for yourself as well – when your body is tight and lacking mobility, it has to fight against these poorly moving tissues.

All in all, moves like the bodyweight squat should feel natural and pain free. Check out these 5 moves to improve your hips and mobility, so you can move even better.

Banded Wall Squat

Put your thumbs in a resistance band and bring it behind your back, creating loops on both ends. Then sit down on the floor next to a wall, and place your feet flat on the wall in your squat stance. Next, loop the band around your knees and lay down. From the side, this should look like a deep squat with your feet shoulder-width apart and touching the wall, your knees bent, and your spine flat on the floor. Hold this position for about two minutes, but stop if you feel any sharp pains, pinching, tingling, or numbness.

What you're doing is using the tension from the bands to pull the femur deep in the hip capsule. Feel free to move your hips and knees around to find where your tight spots are.

If you want to challenge yourself afterwards, keep your left foot on the wall and cross your right for over your knee to stretch your glutes. Hold this position for two minutes, then switch sides and hold for another two minutes. Feel free to back away from the wall you feel any discomfort.

Downward Dog Hip Flexor Stretch

Start on the ground in a pushup/plank position, then hinge at the hips, driving them up and back, and bring your feet closer to your hands. Pull your hips toward the ceiling and your heels to the ground. Keep your back flat and extended. This is the down dog position.

Brace your hands to the floor before picking up one leg and rotating your hip over, as if you were driving it toward your opposite elbow. Hold your leg in position, maintaining your posture and balance, before returning to the down dog position.

Make sure to move slowly, especially when you're first trying out the move for the first time. This should be smooth, not jerky, so you get the most out of the stretch.

Elevated Pigeon Stretch

For this move, you'll need an elevated platform or box. Raise one leg and place it on the platform, bending your knee at a 90-degree angle. Keep your opposite leg planted on the ground, squeezing your glutes.

Hinge at the hips and lean your torso over your legs as far as is comfortable, then move side to side, keeping your posture stable by bracing yourself with your hands. You can also place your arm on the inside of your raised leg and rotate your torso, opening your chest to stretch.

Shin Box Switches

Sit down on the ground, bringing your legs into a "90-90 position" – bend your front leg internally, and your back leg externally, so both are pointed in the same direction. This is the starting position.

Keeping your feet on the ground, switch your hip position so your front and back legs switch directions. Keep your torso as upright as possible throughout the movement.

Once you're used to the movement, add a hip raise at the top of each switch. Rise up on your knees and pause for a beat before returning back to the 90-90 position for the next rotation.

Couch Stretch

Find a wall and a pad to kneel on for this exercise. Take a knee close to the wall, resting your raised foot against the wall for support. Lean back so that your foot is between your butt and the wall.

Squeeze your glutes and hamstrings to activate the stretch, keeping your knee close to the wall. To hold the stretch for longer periods of time, find a prop to support yourself on the side of your body you're kneeling on.

We were in the studio and just going through beats. We got a lot of other songs too that haven’t even came out yet.

Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, disclosed this in his office while receiving the report from the Presidential Committee set up by the Federal Government on the recent earth tremor in Abuja.

He said it was high time Nigeria worked on its building code and materials used in housing construction in case tremor occurs in future, adding that the buildings and building materials should be such that could withstand any likely tremor.

Dr Onu said the inclusion of the Director-General of the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NIBRRI) in the committee would be of immense benefits to the work of the committee.

According to him, the Director-General of NIBRR was included in the committee so that the right building Code and materials that would withstand future tremors can be suggested to the committee.

“Though these earthquakes may have been of low-magnitude, it is now certain that earthquake occurrence has become a potential hazard to the nation, he added.
